Partner satisfaction survey results – What are our Marketplace partners most interested in?

    At the end of 2024, Pepita and its Marketplace partners reached another significant milestone. The partner satisfaction survey not only provided us with valuable and insightful information but also elevated our partner relationships to a new level.

    Thanks to over 250 responses, we gained a deeper understanding of our partners’ views on:

    🔺 the Pepita Admin interface

    🔺 the performance of the Pepita.hu and Pepita.com platforms

    🔺 the effectiveness of campaigns and the transparency of financial processes

    🔺 the user experience of the Pepita.hu website and the service quality of the Pepita Group.

    Furthermore, the final section of the survey, “Your questions to us!”, opened up new avenues for two-way communication between Pepita and Marketplace partners.

    In this article, we address the final topic of the satisfaction survey and, of course, share responses from our department leaders:

    ❓ What questions have our partners asked the managers of the different areas of Pepita?

    📌Interestingly, over 10% of messages expressed gratitude to the Pepita Marketplace team. We also thank our partners for the excellent business relationships and smooth, productive collaboration! 🙌  

    📌 Our partners who filled in the questionnaire mainly asked questions to the head of international expansion, the head of the partner relations team, and the heads of IT and marketing. 

    📌The topics raised in the messages generally centred around three main areas: the benefits and initial steps of international sales, sales promotion opportunities, and requests for various technical developments.

    ❓Question:

    “Is it very difficult to enter international markets? I haven’t targeted foreign markets yet, though I’ve been considering it. But I’m worried about shipping and translating product descriptions. There are descriptions I’m not sure a program could translate correctly.”

    🚛 Shipping solutions

    We previously shared details HERE about the most popular courier companies by country. We recommend contacting them directly for quotes and securing contracts in advance. Leading logistics providers offer transparent pricing with no hidden fees. Moreover, in the coming months, we also would like to support our partners with international delivery services. 📦

    As for unclaimed packages, the good news (based on feedback from our partners and logistics providers) is that when shipments arrive within the stated delivery window on product pages, unclaimed package rates are not excessive. Additionally, in Austria and Germanyonly card payments are accepted, reducing the risk of unclaimed orders. 💳

    🤖 Easy product description translations

    This year, we plan to support our partners’ international expansion as quickly and easily as possible with a product translation service provided by Pepita. Based on our experience, having documentation in the local language is the most effective. But initially you can use AI to generate translations and verify accuracy using free translation tools. It is important to note that the Partner is solely responsible for the correctness of the product documentation.

    There are several tools available to help partners grow their sales and improve marketing effectiveness. To maximise revenue, we recommend making use of all the following:

    ✅ Competitive pricing strategy

    💲Apply competitive pricing!

    Among various pricing strategies, we recommend the competitive pricing model for both domestic and international markets. This method compares and adjusts prices with those of competitors in the market. The strategy aims to participate in price competition and increase market share. Please avoid applying price multipliers, as they can lead to unrealistically high prices, potentially pricing you out of the market.

    “Cand putem folosi curieri inegrați in Pepita si putem gestiona comenzile din Baselinker?”
    (When will we be able to use integrated courier services with Pepita and manage orders via BaseLinker?)

    🚚 As mentioned in our previous article, following the introduction of the GLS parcel locker option, which is already available to most Hungary-based partners, we plan to expand our logistics services in the coming months to include:

    🚩 Integrated GLS home delivery
    🚩 Standard and XXL parcel delivery within Hungary
    🚩 Integrated delivery and parcel locker options abroad

    💻 In addition to these logistical developments, the Pepita Admin interface is being upgraded as well. New features such as a Help Center, Message Center, Product documentation enhancement feature will also be introduced.
