Feed and API connections

Feed connections
It is possible to establish a feed connection for the listing of products and the management of prices
and stock. We have established connections with several providers, but you can also set up a
customized Pepita feed.
You cannot edit the price, stock, description of products manually or with excel spreadsheet, only from
feed. We can also manage the delivery cost and time centrally, or you can transfer data in the feed.
For detailed information on delivery costs, please see our description below: Determining the delivery
cost.

Steps of feed setup
If you want to have a feed connected, send the URL of the feed to your dedicated contact or to
[email protected]. We will need the following information:
- whether there are variation products in the feed
- product level transport cost taken into account by the system from the feed or the default value
- product-level delivery time taken into account by the system from the feed, or the default value
UNAS feed
For Unas webshops, go to Settings / External links / Price comparison export/ Feed and select the
Pepita feed.
Shoprenter feed
For Shoprenter, you can find the feeds under Marketing / Automatic product sharing, where you need
to send us the eMAG feed.
EasySales feed
If you are using easySales, you need to go to the Integrations / Marketplaces, find the Pepita HU
marketplace and click on the Connect button to create the feed after completing the necessary
settings. The “URL Feed” is required to register the products.
WS feed
For WordPress webshop we recommend the WsFeed plugin. If you use it, you can create a new feed
via the Settings / WsFeed Settings / New feed file menu. Two pieces of information are required: the
format of the feed and an informational text description to help you identify the content of the feed.
After saving the feed, the feed file will be visible in the Settings / WsFeed Settings / Feed list interface.
This cannot be used yet, it must be enabled by clicking on the green tick icon in the Actions column.
Product listing
The new products will be processed by the Pepita content team, and will be made available on the site
after the categories have been matched and the necessary fields are checked.
If the name, description or image of a product has changed, it will be updated automatically. You
cannot edit the product manually, the next feed update would overwrite these changes.
If you experience problems updating products, please report them to your dedicated contact person
or email [email protected].
Feed update
The stock from feeds is typically updated every hour (except for UNAS feeds, every 300 minutes, due
to limited retrieval options). Price and description are updated once a day.
API connection
API connection communication direction: Pepita → Partner store (push), i.e.: When an order is
received on Pepita, the order is automatically forwarded to the API endpoint provided by the partner
store. This communication is one way, there is currently no possibility to resynchronize. This means
that orders have to be closed manually, but you can manage orders, issue invoices, order couriers, etc.
within your own system. We already have established connections with some providers, but you can
develop your own API if you wish.

API configuration steps
If you want to set up the API connection for order forwarding, please send us the necessary API keys.
Be sure to check with your provider about the process for setting up the connection, which is briefly
described below.
UNAS API setup
In order to set up the UNAS API, we need the API key from the UNAS interface. This can be created
under Settings –> External connections –> API connection. For Pepita, we only need the endpoints of
type ‘getOrder’ and ‘setOrder’, so to generate an API key for us, you need to tick these two. Once we
have that, we will build the automatic submission of orders to the UNAS system.
To automatically send orders to UNAS, we need the following information:
- the exact name and identifier of the payment methods (bank transfer, cash on delivery, bankcard)
- exact name and identification of the mode(s) of transport
You should also send us a screenshot of these from the relevant UNAS subpage to avoid any typos.
These are necessary so that we can match the payment and delivery methods we use with the order
details you submit to UNAS.
Tharanis API
If you are using Tharanis ERP, you can establish the API connection via the following path: Trunks /
Sales / Web Stores. In the pop-up window you can create the API connection by clicking on “Add new”.
EasySales API
If you are using EasySales, you need to find the Pepita HU marketplace in the Integrations /
Marketplaces, from where you need to click to URL Comenzi to establish the API connection.
Custom developed API
If you would like to develop your own API connection, it is also possible, click HERE, and send the documentation to your developer.
