    Base in a nutshell

    Base is an integrated e-commerce management system that enables online shops to connect with various marketplaces, ensuring automated data synchronisation between platforms. It provides an ideal solution for managing multiple sales channels through a single interface. In addition to product uploads, automatic price and stock updates, and order synchronisation, it also supports invoicing and logistics processes, significantly reducing the need for manual work.

    Base – Pepita integration

    By linking your Base and Pepita accounts, the following automated processes between the two systems become available

    • product uploads
    • product documentation updates (excluding merged products)
    • price and stock updates
    • order synchronisation.

    Order synchronisation is a one-way process, which means that we send orders to your online store account, but there is no possibility to synchronise them back. So orders need to be manually managed (closed and status updated) within the Pepita Admin interface.

    Setting up the integration

    Within your Base account, navigate to the “Integrations” menu and click on “Add integration”. From the list of available options, select Pepita. You will then be prompted to enter a username and an API key. 

    The API key is generated uniquely for you by Pepita! 

    Please contact us at [email protected] or reach out to your dedicated account manager, and we will provide you with the API key to be entered into the “Token” field.

    Once the API key has been saved, proceed with the configuration of your products displayed on Pepita through the available menu options.

    Updating existing Pepita products via Base integration

    If you have previously uploaded products manually via the Pepita Admin interface (regardless of whether these products are currently available in your Base account or not), they will need to be imported from Pepita Admin into Base. Automatic data updates and order synchronisation for these products will only be possible after the import has been completed.

    Importing Pepita products

    In your Base account, select Pepita.hu Marketplace, and under the “Listing management” menu, navigate to the “Import offers” tab.

    Click the “Import now” button to begin adding products. Choose your Pepita account and complete the required fields. Finally, click “Run import”

    Once the import process is complete, the products will appear under the “Listing management” tab. This enables automatic updates and order synchronisation via the API connection.
